I turned in my leased car and toyota paid me $2,386.54 for the out right purchase. do i need to claim the imcome and if so how ?

No Tax forms just a Net Amount form indicatng the total sales and a Wholesale Order Form with Odometer disclosure statement.

No. you do not need to report this as income. To clarify though, did Toyota issue you a tax document?
