The points showed in Box 6 on my 1098 form.

Your points should be reflected on your Form 1098 in box 6. But it is not unusual for them not to be shown. If they are not there check your Settlement Statement from your closing and that will reflect your points if you paid any. You can also ask your Financial Institution. that financed your mortgage, if you are not sure.
