I received the question "Did XX High Deductible Health Plan coverage lapse in 2024 due to disability?" but never had a lapse in health insurance.

I had an individual plan in 2023 and a family plan in 2024.

And was XX your name? And you had High Deductible Health Insurance, not some other kind of health insurance?

If so, since you had Self only coverage in 2023 and Family coverage in 2024, this question does not apply to you, so answer, "NONE".

"None" is not an available answer to this question. The only answer are "yes, it was due to disability" or "no, if was for some other reason." Neither answer is correct if the person didn't have a lapse in coverage in 2024. I'm getting the same error for my wife, but she we had a family plan under my insurance in both 2023 and 2024.

Take a closer look at the question on the screen just prior to the one telling you there was a lapse in coverage.

If both you and your spouse are covered under the same family plan, then the person with the HDHP in their name will indicate they had a family plan.  The other person will indicate they had None because the HDHP was not in their name.
