I received payment under 1099-misc for being in a clinical research study. I thought I could deduct mileage expenses but don't see how to do this.

I tried 'edit' for this entry but no option for expenses.

I received payment under 1099-misc for being in a clinical research study. I thought I could deduct mileage expenses but don't see how to do this.

If you are claiming this as other or miscellaneous income, there is no expense deduction.
