I need help with the "points question on my mortgage interest paid.

I have two mortgages, I do not believe we had points for either one but it does not say on the 1098 forms and I can't locate the closing statements to confirm this. Can I just answer no points without it being an issue?

Yes, if you cannot confirm that you paid points, then do not claim a deduction for them. You can always amend later if you locate the information with your settlement papers.
