I'm self employed why dont I qualify for HOH EIC and child tax credits?
I am self employed, I get paid in cash but I do also have 2 1099-MISC forms. When I put all of my income in, I dont qualify for any tax credits because my income shows up as a negative number ex $-20,000. And it says I have no income. What am I doing wrong?

If you entered more expenses than income, then you have a loss for the year and do not have any income to qualify for the credits. Only a profit would qualify.
