Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I'm not seeing an answer for question "is PMI still a deductible for tax year 2018?" Turbo Tax allowed entry but it's not listed as a deduction on summary page.

Need to know if the PMI deduction is allowable for tax year 2018.  I've entered the amount but the field is 0 on the summary page.  If it's available for tax year 2018, when will Turbo Tax be updated?  If the PMI deduction is not yet approved, is there a timeline for when it will be so Turbo Tax will be updated?

At this time, it is not allowed. The entry was permitted in case it does change. The law that allows this deduction in 2018 is still under review. Keep going with your return, and if the mortgage insurance deduction is later approved, we'll help you get it.

If the tax break is approved before you file, we’ll automatically update your return. If it’s approved after you file, we’ll let you know so you can amend your return.
