I'm entering my self employment home office expenses (utilities, PMI, etc) and TT it asking for 2019 numbers instead of 2020. Is that right?

No, TT shouldn't ask for 2019. The information to provide TT is the 2020 home office expenses (rent, mortgage interest, property taxes, etc.). There is also a simplified method, enacted in 2013, that allows you $5 per square foot used for the home office. For more information on the home office deduction please check this link: The Home Office Deduction

Ignore the obvious update  error ... they just failed to change 2019 to 2020 yet ... it doesn't affect they program calculations.
