I lived in two homes in 2016. Which is considered the main one for property taxes?

If only one of the houses is located in your state of legal residence, then that would be your "main home."

If both houses are located in your state of legal residence, then the one where you spent the most time would be your "main home."

From a federal tax perspective, it won't make any difference.
