Active-duty military (and their spouses) are considered to live in their state HOR no matter where they are stationed.
In the MyInfo Personal Interview, do not select "Lived in another state in 2017". That question only applies if you changed your state of residence in 2017.
Their active-duty pay (and the spouse’s civilian pay) are considered to be earned in their respective state HOR (exception for “same-state” rule).
Only if the active-duty member had non-military income should you answer "Yes' to the question "Did you earn money in any other states?"
When you complete the My Info Personal Interview:
1. Select (TN) as your state of residence.
2. Answer "No" when asked if you "Lived in another state in 2017?" That question only applies if you changed your state of residence in 2017.
3. When asked if you "Earned money in another state?", answer "No" (unless the military member had non-military income in the state where you are stationed).
