I have a question about mortgage interest. PNC bought my mortgage from SWBC. How do I fill in the blanks being asked by TurboTax?

The software is asking how much I spent on improvements from this loan. I disclosed the amount for the original refi with SWBC. Since the loan has been bought by PNC, do I use the same figure for how much has been spent for improvements. I am confused about how to fill out this since the loan was purchase by another lender.

Record as reflected on the actual 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement. Same thing happen with me but just use how reported to IRS via the actual 1098 received.
