I got paid from a US company but the amount I received was in a foreign currency. Do I still put the amount in US dollars for my income?

I'm a freelancer living abroad but still a US citizen/paying US taxes.

Yes, as a U.S. citizen you must report worldwide income- so you can convert the amount to U.S. dollars.
