You can only take a tax deduction for donations to charities that are US entities (or have a US branch you can donate to) and that are registered as exempt organizations with the IRS.

You can only take a tax deduction for donations to charities that are US entities (or have a US branch you can donate to) and that are registered as exempt organizations with the IRS.
