I don't know the exact amount I spent on medical expenses. Is it okay to estimate? Does the cost of ambulance rides count toward medical expenses?

It is ok to estimate, but you will have to prove the deductions to the IRS if they ever request it. Are you able to look up checks, credit card statements or medical bills? Your paid amounts will be listed there. And Yes - ambulance rides you paid are tax deductible.

It is ok to estimate, but you will have to prove the deductions to the IRS if they ever request it. Are you able to look up checks, credit card statements or medical bills? Your paid amounts will be listed there. And Yes - ambulance rides you paid are tax deductible.
