I don't have enough deductions to itemize, so what version of Turbo Tax do I need?

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for years, but now I don't have enough deductions to itemize them. What version of Turbo Tax do I need to buy?

You might still need Deluxe. The only version of TurboTax Online below Deluxe is Free Edition. Free Edition is only for very simple tax returns. It basically covers only things that are reported directly on Form 1040, without any other schedules or forms. Go to the following link for a summary of what is and is not supported in Free Edition.

What qualifies as a simple tax return?

If you will use the downloaded version you can use the Deluxe if you need a state return or Basic if you don't need a state and it is a few $$ cheaper than the online program.  If you check around  at the third party vendors you can usually get it cheaper than TT direct at this time of the year.
