I don't have a car, but I keep being asked to answer questions about having a car. (I am self-employed.) How do I tell TurboTax that I don't have a car?

You may need to revisit the vehicle section of your Self-employed business expenses. If there is an entry under that topic, use the trashcan icon (delete) to remove the information. That should resolve the Smart Check message.
