Can I see an example of an entry for the sales tax deduction for a car?

I paid $2799 in sales tax. The tax rate is .084%. Why did Turbotax reduce my deduction to $26?

I believe the problem is that your tax rate is actually 8.4% not .084%.  Where do you live that you have a .084% tax rate?
