I am in the process of selling a home that my father left to me my sister and my brother. We had to fill out a 1099s . How will this affect my taxes for next year?

If the home sale was split three ways, you should each receive a separate 1099-S for your share of the sale.  

When you enter the sale on your return next year, your "cost or other basis" is your share of how much the house was worth when you inherited it, plus your share of the expenses to fix it up and sell it.
