@dushyantkumar1 Sometimes it helps to just delete the child from dependents and then re-enter the child.
Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2023 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
How old is the child? Did they turn 17? Has to be under 17 to get the Child Tax Credit. Or you answered a question wrong for them under My Info. Go back and edit their info.
Dependents that make you eligible for the 2023 child tax credit are:
Your children that were under 17 all of 2023
If your child was not under 17, you would get the credit for other dependents which is only 500.
@dushyantkumar1
My son is only ten years old. Previously, I used to get the correct credit. I tried to go over information and did not figure out what to change.
Make sure you said he lived with you the Whole year. And the one that says did your CHILD pay more than half of their support. It's not asking if you did. Also if his ssn is valid for employment. Say yes.
If you can't get it to change then try completely deleting them and re-entering them. Sometimes that helps to clear something out.

I did that and was able to get the full credit.
Thanks.
