I am being asked by my work to verify info so that I may have insurance, they are asking for certificate and redacted 2018 tax form 1040, one page, how do I get it?

If you need a certified copy of a tax return you would need to complete an IRS Form 4506 and check the box for a certified copy, there is a $50 fee for a copy of a tax return from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Or download a copy of the tax return if you used the TurboTax online editions for 2018 -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Do you mean that you need only the first page of the Form 1040? When you open the PDF of your tax return in Acrobat Reader, or whatever PDF reader you use, and click Print, you will have the option to select which pages you want to print. Just print the one page that you need.

TurboTax does not provide any facility for redacting information from a tax return. If you have a PDF editing program you can use that to do the redaction before you print the page. If not, print the page, do the redaction with a marker on the printed page, and give your employer a photocopy of the redacted page.
