I am an overseas missionary and self-employed under my church. What can I write as business expense deductions?

I am filing a 1099-MISC for donations from my church, and I'M filing as self-employed. As a missionary, I travel to different countries, and pay for housing and food. How much of this is considered a "business expense"?
