I already filed with standard deduction and I want to change to itemized deduction,how can I do this?

If you need to make an adjustment to a tax return already filed, the only way to do so is via an amendment.  However, not all changes need to be amended.   Please see IRS Tips On How and When To File An Amended Tax Return to see if you will need to file one before doing so.  If you need to file an amendment, instructions to do so is found below;
