How to enter 1098 data for second home

Enter the 1098 data for the second home in the same section where you entered the one for the primary home. Click "add a new 1098" to start a new entry screen. TurboTax will ask you if the mortgage is secured by a primary or second home.

In fact, a mobile home, RV, house trailer, or houseboat that has sleeping, cooking, and toilet facilities counts as a main or second home, and as long as it meets all the other requirements for deducting mortgage interest, you can claim the interest like an immovable home.
