Thank you, but my question is about how to put that into turbo tax. I'm aware of how to write it of on my schedule C. We can also do a simplified deduction at a rate of $5×the square footage of the space up to 300 ft², but there doesn't seem to be a space to input that information into turbo tax. The questions it asks are specifically about home office. I haven't been able to find input options about inventory storage spaces.
Home Office is defined as an area of the home used exclusively for business. That can include inventory storage. So you're actually entering it as a home office into TurboTax.
