Yes, we can help you make a contribute directly to your HSA and get a tax deduction.

Here’s how to post-tax the HSA contribution:

  1. Open (continue) your return in TurboTax.
  2. Go to the main menu on the left.
    1. Select Tax Tools
    2. On the drop-down select Tools
    3. There will be 4 green boxes
    4. Select Topics Search
    5. Type the HSA
  3. On the screen Tell us about the health-related accounts you had in 2023,
    1. check the box next to Health Savings Account (HSA) and select Continue.
  4. If you land on Your HSA summary,
    1. select Edit
    2. then make sure the Health Savings Account (HSA) box is checked on the next screen and select Continue.
    3. If you see the screen Here’s what we have so far, select Done.
  5. Answer Yes or No to Did you inherit this HSA?, depending on your situation.
  6. Enter your contribution on the screen Let’s enter your HSA contributions - Continue.
  7. Continue answering the questions until you reach Your HSA summary
    1. All your employee contributions will be listed as a deduction, and
    2. any contributions made by your employer and not reported on your W-2 will be reported as tax-free company contributions.
