Turbotax refuses to let me change my rental vs homeowner status. How can I fix this?

That seems odd since there is no place to even enter on a federal tax return that you are a renter. If you owned a home in 2025 go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Your Home if you need to itemize home ownership deductions like mortgage interest and property tax.
