Not sure what you are really trying to ask. If you are a W-2 employee, you cannot deduct a home office or any job-related expenses on a federal return.
-W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal return. Job-related expenses were eliminated as a federal deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond. Your state tax laws might be different in AL, AR, CA, HI, MN, NY or PA.
In most states. any Covid-related emergency relief has expired. It is up to your employer to decide work-from-home policies going forward so you will want to contact them, many decided to continue remote work. In general, home office expenses for employees stopped being deductible on the federal tax return in 2018 due to the Tax Cuts and Job Act (TCJA). Your state may have deductions available, but you do have to contact your employer to see if it is "Work from Home" or "Return to Office".
