I live in Connecticut and my daughter goes to school at McGill in Montreal Canada. Can I deduct the money I send her for rent (apartment) and food? If so where do I add that to Turbo Tax.

Those are living expenses and not eligible education expenses. Living expenses are not deductible on tax return.
McGill only offers dorms to 1st year students. She has no choice but to have an apartment. With no other options I would think that all or a portion of what I pay would be deductible.
