You may indeed be able to deduct the cost of a hot tub: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5908710

Your headset for hearing the TV and radio is also deductible.  For more information, refer to Turbotax's article - Tax Tips for the Deal: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/tax-tips/Tax-Deductions-and-Credits/Tax-Tips-for-the-Deaf/INF2...

These medical expenses will need to be itemized and reported on Schedule A.  Total medical expenses for you, your spouse, and your dependents must exceed 10% of your adjusted gross income (7.5% if you're 65 or older as of December 31, 2016). The deduction is limited to the expenses above and beyond this amount.

To enter medical expenses in Schedule A:

  • Open (continue) your return if it's not already open.
  • Click on Orange box “Take me to my return
  • In the Search box (top right-hand corner), type “schedule a
  • Click on the Magnifying Glass icon or hit Enter.
  • Click on “Jump to schedule a” link high-lighted in Blue.
  • Answer Yes on the Did you have any medical expenses in 2016? screen.
  • You will then be prompted to enter your medical expenses, starting with prescriptions.
