None of these answers really  help. Is it a number I am somehow supposed to calculate. My mother died, my father donated of her personal lifetime of things to Goodwill. the donated value using Its Deductible was $14,696. What am i supposed to enter on this line.  Specifically.

You can estimate the original cost of those items.  It's typically 5x or so (for clothing and household items) the value that you are able to deduct.
