On Form 1099-B Worksheet, why won't Turbotax Premiere allow me to enter data other than in the "Form 8949 Reporting Exception Transactions"?

How do I report 1099-B when company lumps together short and long-trm sales and purchases. Do I use a worksheet? I entered sale amount in 1d and when I entered on 1e to enter cost basis I went to the previous information in 1d. The sales are a mix of long-term and short-term stock
When you say the company lumps together short and long-term sales, I am not sure I understand your question completely.
Do you mean the list of transactions are not sorted by short and long-term? If this is the case, just enter each transaction and identify it as short or long-term. Entering each transaction individually will allow TurboTax to categorize by short-term and long-term.
You will not be able to enter a lump sum unless you go through and add up what are short-term and add up the long-term. Then do an entry for the short-term and one entry for the long-term. Doing it this way, you will have to attach a copy of the 1099-B you received.
If this is not what you are asking, then please provide more specific information on what your question is.
