Foreign property mortgage, where this info should be included?

You can deduct mortgage interest for a foreign property just like for a domestic property. In TurboTax, go to:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Go to the magnifying glass on the top right and S=search for 1098, select the Jump to link, and select Add/edit Form 1098.
3. Answer Yes on the screen Did you pay any home loans in 2024?
4. This will assume that you have a 1098.  if you don't have one, it's ok. You can still enter information without it.
5. TurboTax will guide you through the remainder.
