For some reason it keeps saying that I have to fill out a credit for child care when I keep pressing no I did not pay for child care!

Do you have an amount in Box 10 on your W-2? This is the amount that you contributed to your Dependent Care FSA (which implies that you intended to pay for child or dependent care.
