family Tax Credit for Kentucky not calcutlated for 2024

Received Notice from KY IRS that we failed to file for the KY Family Size Tax Credit. They adjusted our return.

In looking at TurboTax, Form ITC has the lines to fill out BUT the easy Form did not ask if it was to be filled out.

Did I miss something?

Generally, the information and questions that populate in your state interview screens are generated based upon questions and information that is entered in the federal interview screens.  Since this is a public forum, it's hard to decipher if you did not see the screen or if it was accidentally passed over.  

Essentially, when preparing your state return, you should have seen a screen similar to the following where in this example, the screen is titled "Qualifying Dependents for Family Size Tax Credit" or "Family Size Tax Credit."  One screen asks for details while the next screen lets you know whether you qualify or not.
