Entering in loan origination fees

one of your bullets for deductions is entering in loan origination fees. however, under the mortgage deduction summary (the next page) there is no category for this. where do you enter it if it is in fact a deduction?

Entering in loan origination fees

To enter loan origination fee

  • Type in mortgage interest in the search box, top right of your screen, then click the magnifying glass

  • Click the jump to mortgage interest link in the search results

  • Follow to prompts and online instructions

Loan origination fee and points are one in the same.
