Property Taxes can be entered under two headings in TurboTax.

     -  Mortgage Interest (1098)
     -  Property (Real Estate) taxes paid

Review your entries to be sure the Property Taxes have not been entered in both places.

Many taxpayers do not have a 1098 form and do need to enter separately.  Other taxpayers have a 1098 with the tax paid on their form.
