@Anonymous_ the link you provided doesn't seem to answer the question really. So I went looking for an IRS or other legal definition/description of what constitutes a vehicle for tax purposes. The best I could find thus far is at https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/40/85.1703
That is for the purpose of determining the applicability of Section 216(2) (Title 40), @Carl, so it is inapplicable.
FWIW, I believe a conveyance on the order of an e-bike would not qualify as another vehicle.
I don't think and e-bike would qualify as a vehicle either. I seem to recall that years ago I did see somewhere the IRS definition of a vehicle for tax purposes. But it's been so long my memory could be faulty on that.
