Do i respond yes or no to living in the hurricane disaster area ?

I live in Florida when the hurricanes hit in 2017, and i was put out of work during these storms and made alot less than i did last year. However, i never filed any insurance claims on things i loss like food and etc, so si i respond yes or no to the question that asks if i was affected by the hurricane ? Is their a form that i will be required to fill out ? Will the irs hold my refund longer ?

Lost wages are not deductible as a casualty loss.  If you have insurance that would cover the loss of items in your household, you would need to file an insurance claim first, before you could deduct anything for a casualty loss.  You could say No here because it does not sound like you have anything to deduct right now.
