Dependants with work study

My daughter loves in my house and is a dependent on my taxes however she has a work study award that recently exceeded 4,500 and I was wondering if she can still be listed as a dependent since it is a work study award

Depends on her age.  Is she is under 24 and still in school, then how much she makes doesn't matter.

Just run through this app:

If she is under age 19, or is under age 24 while being a full-time student, the relevant test is "did she provide more than half her own support?"  If yes, she can't be claimed as a dependent.

If she is 24 or older, or 19 or older and not a full time student, the relevant tests for 2023 are, "did you provide more than half her own support?" and "does she have less than $4700 of total taxable income?"   If the answer to either question is no, you can't claim her this year.

Most of the time, students are considered to live "at home" even if they are away at college, and the amounts of income students usually earn are not enough to stop them being claimed as dependents, although every case needs to be evaluated on its own facts.
