Are you using TurboTax Online or CD/Download?
TurboTax Online will not let you delete state if you already paid for your return.
- In State, tap the trash can, then Start Over to clear any state data
- Select Review in the left column then Delete my (State) return
- Tape Delete my (State) return again
In CD/Download, select File in the top left, then Remove State Return
