Deductions for 2020 (and beyond) Alimony

I finalized my divorce in October 2020, which included alimony payments to my ex-wife. On my 2020 and future tax returns, can I deduct (or get credit for) some or all of my alimony payments?

For divorces finalized after 2018 alimony payments and alimony received are not reported on a federal tax return.
