My nephew was 17 7months out of the year in 2024he isn't due to graduate high school until this year 2025 i provide for him 6 months out of the year and his mother my sister is disabled on s.s.i i also provide for her more than 6 months out of the year when i file and claim both of them will i receive anything back for them they both live with me

You lose the child tax credit if the child turned 17 even on 12-31-2024 with no exceptions. Remember that you got the CTC for the full year when the child was born even if they were only there for several months. It evens out. After they turn 17 you can still claim them as a dependent but you get the $500 credit for other dependents.
If your sister is a qualifying relative dependent then you will also get the $500 credit for other dependents for her.
