Yes, you would only enter the amount that the recipient specifies. This is because, with a charitable gift annuity, you also receive a benefit in the form of a fixed payout for the rest of your life. Please read this Turbo Tax link written by BarbaraW22 for further details as she explains how the charitable organization determines on the amount you can deduct.

In TurboTax online, in the Federal section, go to Deductions & Credits, scroll down to Charitable Donations, and if necessary, click on the drop down arrow to reveal more options, and select Donations to Charity in 2021.  If you have already entered some charitable donations, click on Add Another Charity.  If not, answer the questions to proceed through the application.  When you get to the page which asks, "What did you donate?," select Stock, and answer the questions accordingly.

I did not donate Stock. I established a Charitable Gift Annuity with a specified amount of Money. The recipient notified me that a lessor amount was deductible. Do I enter that lesser amount?
