Since COVID-19 is considered a qualified disaster for the Casualty Loss Deduction, am i able to claim the damages on my vehicle for deduction purposes?
The damages happened during the pandemic in the result of debris in the road from high winds over a bridge in route to work. No insurance payments or reimbursements were made.

Casualty Losses can be claimed on Schedule A, Itemized Deductions. If you use the Standard Deduction (90% of people do), you won't be able to claim the loss.

On an adjacent platform, i am able to claim it aside with my standard deduction. With that said, is my situation still valid to process using the other platform?
If you have a qualified disaster loss you may elect to deduct the loss without itemizing your deductions. Your net casualty loss doesn't need to exceed 10% of your adjusted gross income to qualify for the deduction, but you would reduce each casualty loss by $500 after any salvage value and any other reimbursement. The Key Point here is verifying that you have a loss that was caused by the Disaster.
