Can you tell me why my Federal Return does not show the $600 credit for the new propane water heater that I paid $ 3520 for?

If your tax liability has been reduced to zero the credit will not be used and will not be carried forward.

Look at your Form 1040 Line 20 to see if the $600 is shown

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
