Do you know exactly the percent of internet usage that is for the business versus for personal use? If not, then that cannot be claimed as a home office business expense.
Yes. You can deduct the portion of the internet that is directly related to your business/home office. If the internet is used for your entire home, for things like TV, gaming, watching movies, etc, you would need to determine how much of the internet is related to your business use versus general home use and then prorate the cost accordingly.
You cannot deduct the full amount or any part of it that is not used for business if it is used for both home and business.
