Yes. While having dependents will entitled you to larger deductions and give you access to tax credits such as the Child Tax Credit and Child and Dependent Care Credit, which will likely lead to a larger refund, it is certainly possible and common to get a tax refund without dependents.
If you had more tax withheld during the year, then your tax liability that is calculated at the end of the year, then you will get a refund. Also, it is still possible to claim certain credits like the Earned Income Credit without dependents (but the income threshold is less).
