If your received all of your Mortgage interest from one lending institution, you can put it TurboTax with a single amount.  If you had more than one lending institution, you should list these separately in TurboTax.  Here's How:

1. While in your Tax Home,
2. Select Search from the top right side of your screen,
3. Enter 1098,
4. Select Jump to 1098,
5. Follow the On-Screen Prompts to complete this section.
6. If you need to add another 1098, select Add another 1098.
