I am a tax payer of Illinois in 2019.

I did not file federal and state tax return yet.

And I am waiting for result of federal 2018 amended tax return.

No, you won't be able to e-file your state return without e-filing your federal return.

This adds an extra layer of security to all e-filed state returns. This also means you won't be able to e-file your state if your federal return was, or will be, paper-filed.

You can mail in your state but we don't advise it.
