Can I enter information on 1042-S (employer etc.) when I am filing federal tax as a resident (1040)?

I am working in the US on a J1 visa (research scholar). For 2024 I received both a 1042-S listing income from a fellowship (first 9 months of 2024) and a W2 (covering the last 3 months of 2024). For 2024 I have to file as a resident (1040). I would like to know if I can register in TT that I have received the 1042-S and how I should do that. As suggested I have added the income listed on the 1042-S under Miscellaneous Income/Other reportable income. Can I add additional information through TT to indicate that I received a 1042-S and from who I received the income reported on the 1042-S?

No, you don't need to attach additional documentation to your return to show that this is 1042S income. When you report this in Miscellaneous income, enter 1042S income received in the description Box and the amount. If the IRS has any questions, they will contact you.
